Vienna, Austria's capital and largest city, also serves as one of the country's nine states. With a metropolitan area population of around two million inhabitants, Vienna holds the distinction of being Austria's most populous city and its primary urban center.
Prague, the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic, retains its historical status as the capital of Bohemia. Situated on the Vltava River, Prague is home to approximately 1.3 million residents. The city experiences a temperate oceanic climate, characterized by mild summers and chilly winters.
Itinerary
Day 1:
Arrive at the airport where your driver awaits to take you to your city hotel for check-in. Enjoy free time for the rest of the day.
Day 2:
Post-breakfast, embark on a Half Day Budapest city tour on a Seat in Coach basis. Starting at the Chain Bridge, the tour passes by landmarks such as the Elisabeth Bridge, Downtown Parish Church, and showcases the Central Market Hall, National Museum, and Europe's largest Synagogue from the outside. Travel down Andrássy Avenue, seeing St Stephen's Basilica and the Opera House, and stopping at Heroes' Square. Explore the City Park on foot, visit the Castle District, Matthias Church, and Fishermen's Bastion for panoramic views. The tour concludes in Pest's city centre after a drive over Gellért Hill and the Elisabeth Bridge.
Day 3:
Check out from your Budapest hotel post-breakfast and head to Budapest Keleti railway station for your Vienna journey. Upon arrival, a driver will transfer you to your Vienna hotel. The day is yours to enjoy freely.
Day 4:
After breakfast, take advantage of a 48-hour Hop-on-Hop-off bus tour ticket. Explore Vienna at your own pace, with the flexibility to hop off at any of the 15 stops across four routes. Highlights include the State Opera, Hofburg, City Hall, St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Danube, Prater, Schoenbrunn Palace, and more. Day 5:
Post-breakfast, check out and transfer to the Vienna Train Station for your journey to Prague. A driver will meet you in Prague and take you to your hotel. Enjoy some free time.
Day 6:
Enjoy a full-day tour to Karlovy Vary post-breakfast, where you can experience the renowned spa town, taste the mineral springs, and visit the Moser glassworks and the historic center. The tour includes lunch.
Day 7:
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning at your hotel. In the afternoon, you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight home, marking the end of your journey.
