Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival/Flight to Mfuwe in South Luangwa

Upon arrival at Lusaka International Airport (LUN), our team will welcome you and assist with checking in for the late afternoon flight to Mfuwe in South Luangwa, which takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. At Mfuwe airport, you will be met by the guide from Flatdogs Camp, where you will spend the first 4 nights of your honeymoon trip. The drive to the camp takes about 45 minutes. Upon arrival, check in, relax, and later, dinner will be served before bedtime at your leisure.

Day 2 – 4: South Luangwa National Park

You will have three full days to explore the amazing South Luangwa National Park through game drives (day and night safari) or by walking safari. You will have two daily safaris, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon/night. You are at leisure to choose when to join the activities or sometimes stay in and relax.

Day 5: Flight to Lusaka International Airport/Flight to Royal Airstrip in Lower Zambezi

After breakfast, your guide will transfer you to Mfuwe airport for your flight to Lusaka. Then, our team at Lusaka airport will assist you in checking in for your domestic flight to the Royal Airstrip in the Lower Zambezi. The guide from Baine's River Camp will meet you at the Royal airstrip and transfer you to the camp. After check-in, lunch will be served, followed by free time in the afternoon to relax and take in the breathtaking river view. Later in the afternoon, you can go on an activity, such as a game drive safari, a Zambezi Riverboat cruise, or a canoe safari, before returning to the lodge for dinner and bedtime.

Day 6 & 7: Safari Activities in Lower Zambezi

You will have two full days to discover the Zambezi, one of the most famous destinations in Africa. You will have two daily safaris, in the morning and the afternoon. Your day will start with breakfast followed by a morning activity, which could be a game drive safari, a walking safari, a boat cruise, or a canoe safari, before returning to the camp for lunch and some time to relax. Later in the afternoon, you will have afternoon tea/coffee and snacks, followed by an afternoon game-viewing experience, before returning to the lodge for dinner and bedtime.

Day 8: Flight from Lower Zambezi to Livingstone via Lusaka

Your day will begin with breakfast, followed by a transfer to the Royal airstrip for your flight from Lower Zambezi to Lusaka/Livingstone. Upon arrival at Livingstone airport, our representative and driver will greet you and transfer you to The River Club, where you will stay for the next two nights on a bed and breakfast basis. Once checked in, you'll be able to unwind. Depending on your arrival time, lunch will be served, and you'll have the opportunity to participate in an optional activity.

Day 9 & 10: Breathtaking Victoria Falls Experience

You will have two full days in Livingstone, home to one of the seven natural wonders of the world, Victoria Falls. Your stay includes three activities: a guided tour of the Victoria Falls, a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River with snacks and house-brand drinks, and one activity of your choice (game drive in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, catch & release fishing for 1-3 hours—not available during the breeding season, or a Livingstone town tour). You are also free to choose other optional activities at your expense.

Day 11: Flight from Livingstone to Lusaka Airport

After breakfast today, you will check out, depending on your flight time to Lusaka. At Lusaka International Airport, our representative will greet you and assist with checking in for your international flight back to Dubai.

International flights from Dubai and all internal flights are included. The package consists of 4 nights full board at Flatdogs Camp in South Luangwa National Park, which includes accommodation, all meals, twice daily safari activities, road transfers from Mfuwe airport, all taxes/tourism levies, laundry, and park fees. You will also enjoy 3 nights fully inclusive at Baine's River Camp in Lower Zambezi, offering accommodation, all meals, all local drinks, twice daily safari activities, internal road transfers from Royal Airstrip, SES, Wi-Fi, VAT, tourism levies, laundry, and park fees and levies. The itinerary concludes with 3 nights fully inclusive at The River Club Lodge in Victoria Falls/Livingstone, providing accommodation, all meals (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea on the main veranda, 3-course dinner), house-brand drinks, teas, coffees and still drinking water, Wi-Fi in main areas of the lodge, complimentary laundry service, and activities in Livingstone (1 complimentary guided tour of the falls, 1 sunset boat cruise on Zambezi River, and 1 choice of either a game drive in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, catch & release fishing for 1-3 hours, or a Livingstone town tour). Transportation includes all airport road transfers.

Items to budget for include visa fees, personal & medical insurance, private guiding while in South Luangwa, Lower Zambezi, and Victoria Falls, Victoria Falls entry fees (USD 20.00 per person) and National Park fees (USD 10 per adult), extra activities & gratuities, and items or services of a personal nature.
